News: Small business owners taking more holidays

small business holidayA new report has found that more small business owners are prepared to leave their business to go on holiday compared to last year.

Almost three quarters (73%) of small business owners questioned said they have planned a break this year, compared to just 57% last year.

However, the report from Peninsula Business Services found that many struggle to leave their business worries behind. Of those that are planning a holiday, 76% will email work every day while 87% will call the office at least once during their break.

Peter Done, managing director of Peninsula Business Services, said “I think it’s a sign of better times when bosses are looking to take a holiday, however I am sure many of them will continue to work despite taking time off.”
