Next we revealed that small business owners are becoming overwhelmed by technology. 38% said they found it difficult to “switch off” outside working hours because of the growing use of technology.

On Wednesday a new report found that small business owners are unaware of all the financing options available to them. Only 52% of respondents were aware of asset-based lending, compared to 97% who had heard of overdrafts.

And yesterday we found that 22% of new businesses miss out on their preferred domain name. Some businesses are eager to get online, with 12% doing so within a day and 84% doing so within three months. For 10% of businesses it takes more than a year!
