Small business website mistakes: No location info

For many types of small business, location is the most important consideration for potential customers and must be prominent on every small business website. If you’re an emergency electrician, for example, you need to make it clear which areas you cover, so web customers can quickly find you. The same goes for other location-specific small businesses such as restaurants, local shops, salons etc.

No location info

It’s not immediately clear from this builder’s website where the company is based. The location is not included in any of the website’s headers or even the body text. Potential customers will have to look at the small footer text to find out where the company is based, but there’s no indication of which surrounding areas are covered.
