Small business website mistakes: Not moving with the times

Since the web was created more than 20 years ago, web design has come a long way. This is down to improved technology, but also to taste. Unfortunately, many early adopters of the web are so keen on their original website designs, that they haven’t updated them to reflect these changes. Here are some examples of dated design and new styles:

Who got it wrong:

This website’s design doesn’t appear to have been updated since it started in 1999, despite it being updated with new content. With its default grey background and a banner with a homemade look, this site would have benefited from a refresh years ago.
