Punt is a niche fashion forward site featuring clothing, footwear and jewellery for men and women. They offer affordable pricing for must have clothing and accessories. They are a provider of small quantities with regular new lines and have been operating for quite a while selling products on Facebook, so they decided to expand their online presence and get a website that will provide a platform for them to grow. They wanted a website that was simple and easy to use with ecommerce and shopping bag features. The website and logo had to reflect their style and products and give you that niche fashion feel.
In the brief we went through a couple of examples as well as their Facebook page to get an idea of the products that they would like to sell online as well as the look and feel they wanted to go for. We also discussed all the online shop requirements and the process a visitor would follow. We designed the home page to be very simple and easy to navigate with white and black as the general colours for the website. We used a lot of fashion images on the home page in different layouts to give it that niche and modern fashion website feel. With all of the elements like the colouring, images and new logo put together the look and feel of the website was complete. We used our new ecommerce platform which is packed with all kinds of great new features to provide Punt with a platform to sell their products online. We used several new features like favourites, order history and related products which is either randomly selected or specifically selected from the product categories.
The client was very happy from the first draft of the website and logo right through to going live and feels that the website will compliment her products while at the same time provide a great platform where they can advertise their products as well as sell their products online and after operating for 6 years they are now proud to launch their new online store.
