A new report has found that more small business owners are prepared to leave their business to go on holiday compared to last year.
Almost three quarters (73%) of small business owners questioned said they have planned a break this year, compared to just 57% last year.
However, the report from Peninsula Business Services found that many struggle to leave their business worries behind. Of those that are planning a holiday, 76% will email work every day while 87% will call the office at least once during their break.
Peter Done, managing director of Peninsula Business Services, said “I think it’s a sign of better times when bosses are looking to take a holiday, however I am sure many of them will continue to work despite taking time off.”
