Naqib Qazi has several years experience helping UK and international companies with their digital marketing. He has worked with a wide range of clients, across a range of industries; from innovative start-ups to some of the world’s largest, most reputable companies, using online marketing to achieve their business objectives.
Naqib has never had his own website to showcase his portfolio and signed up with bOnline to get the ball rolling. The site had to cover a few aspects, such as his services, background information, clients from the past and also serve as a point of contact for new potential clients to get in touch.
Naqib and the designer looked at various different sites to gain some inspiration and direction that would suit the needs of what the website had to achieve. Naqib also did not have a logo representing him, and the logo design was also done alongside the website. They both go hand in hand so a whole brand and image was born when the design started. Orange and black seemed like a fresh, modern colour scheme with a quirky side to it, perfect for a digital type business. It’s fresh orange look works well as an accent colour together with the black.
With a lot of important information, the solution to get it all across was creating anchor pages on the welcome page, so people can view various key aspects by just clicking and moving down on the same page. This allows for easy access and the idea behind less clicking was eliminated in order to keep people on one page for longer to gain all the info they need. Services pages we kept separately, only with a small introduction on each in boxes on the front page. Hereby, they’re better optimised for SEO and each has a form below the content for enquiries.
Imagery was kept simplistic, either faded or monochrome to tie in with the overall black and orange colour scheme on the website. This was also complimented by further imagery in the form of icons, to add a final touch to the design.
After some design reviews, the client was very happy with his website design and the logo. bOnline had also done his copy writing for his site which was signed off after a few reviews . He felt the site and entire design represented him well as a digital marketer and he can now easily direct clients and any one interested in his services to the site.
