Trackwest called in to discuss making changes to their current website. They had been a loyal customer with bOnline for quite a while and after having a look at their current website. I was able to spark a discussion about the latest technology we had available in order to maximise the impact of their website.
We discussed the business goals and how they would like to grow. Then used the information gathered from those discussions in order to start a visual and functional plan for their website redesign.
For this redesign, I focused on information hierarchy and using appropriately placed call to actions across the homepage and other landing pages. This enables users to get in touch, or take action at any point on the website. We used Trackwest branding colours vividly across the site by making use of gradient overlays on parallax background images.
The client had hired a professional photographer and had the most amazing images which we were able to display in an engaging way! This is a great example of a client who has a business where hiring a photographer is the last thing on the owner’s mind. But by taking that step Trackwest was able to elevate the perception of the quality of service a potential customer would expect from a company.
This is an invaluable resource as it also offers the designer of the website, an opportunity to display images in a way that is not just functional, but also aesthetically pleasing.
