It’s summer holiday time again! How to set up a holiday schedule

At certain times in the year, you might want to change your VoIP call flow to reflect the fact you’re taking a break. For example, you may decide to change your opening hours or switch all calls to voicemail for a few days.

The good news is that there’s a straightforward way to set this up yourself, simply using your dashboard. It only takes a few seconds and means you don’t have to worry about missing important calls while you’re away.

Here’s how you do it:

  • First, log in to using your usual login details.
  • Next, go to Phone Settings > Phone Setup > Holiday Schedule, and add your Holiday Schedule there.
  • Finally, enter the date or a range and give it a name, then save it.

For the holiday schedule to work, make sure you have set up and enabled an out-of-hours greeting and voicemail in your current call flow. Here’s how.
